Finalmente riusciamo ad organizzare una giornata all'insegna di storia, natura, miti
e leggende, tutte cucite su di un unico sentiero. Oggi con noi c'è Enrica, cofondatrice
della Marca Aleramica Outdoor che ha lo scopo di valorizzare e unire
attraverso lo sport e il turismo lento, passando per la cultura, l'arte e le tradizioni,
territori ricchi di itinerari intrisi di memoria. Giovanni, guida accreditata e
profondo conoscitore del parco, sarà il nostro accompagnatore ufficiale. L'
itinerario si snoda nella Riserva dell'Adelasia.
Lasciamo l'auto lungo la SP12, in direzione Montenotte Superiore. Dal parcheggio
saliamo rapidamente al rifugio Cascina Miera, posto su un bellissimo pianoro dove
si gode già di una vista meravigliosa; oggi in lontananza si distinguono molto bene
Altare, Ferrania, Millesimo e Vado Ligure. Alla nostra destra una palina indica
varie possibilità di tracciati. Noi percorreremo una parte di sentiero 3 e una parte
di Airone, per compiere in totale circa 11km. Proseguiamo facilmente in
falsopiano attraversando un ceduo di faggi fino a raggiungere un bivio indicante
alla nostra destra, il Bric del Tesoro. E' una piccola deviazione che consigliamo
perchè permette di osservare da vicino un bel tratto di trincea napoleonica e farsi
un'idea di come potesse essere stato combattere su questi monti. Ritorniamo
velocemente al bivio, proseguendo la camminata nella splendida faggeta. Sul
nostro cammino troviamo un altro bivio, il sentiero proseguirebbe a sinistra ma
noi decidiamo di tagliare in linea retta seguendo il sentiero a destra che ci
condurrà nella zona più umida che ospita una rara varietà di fiore, la calta palustre.
Ci spingiamo fino alla sommità della punta Chiappa, dove il paesaggio si apre
notevolmente e in pochi metri cambia totalmente la vegetazione. Al posto dei
faggi troviamo quindi pini marittimi, roverelle e ginepri, tutte varietà amanti dei
terreni più secchi. Torniamo di qualche passo indietro e seguiamo
momentaneamente il sentiero 3, indicato anche come Cinghial Track (attenti alle
bici) scendiamo con decisione fino ad incrociare una carrareccia. Attraversiamo la
zona umida ricca di felci e, su suggerimento di Giovanni, andiamo alla ricerca della
Calta palustre, un fiore giallo che sboccia proprio in questo periodo. Lo
fotografiamo a fatica perchè è proprio al centro della palude. Percorrendo dolci
saliscendi, raggiungiamo il Colle dell’Amore dove incontriamo nuovamente il
sentiero Airone. Attraversiamo quindi un prato esposto e ricco di ginestre in fiore.
Grilli e cicale intonano i loro canti per noi. Pare che sia uno dei posti più
frequentati dai lupi di notte, per questo sono presenti sul percorso delle
fototrappole a infrarossi che rilevano e registrano i movimenti della fauna
autoctona. Da qui in poi l’itinerario è lineare e conduce, con una ripida salita finale
e dei brevi passaggi su roccette, alla cima della Rocca dell’Adelasia. Rimarrete
estasiati dal panorama! Spazia a colpo d'occhio dalle alpi al mare. Ai piedi della
Rocca si ricongiungono anche altri sentieri, come l'itinerario 1 e l'Alta Via dei
Monti Liguri. Siamo ormai quasi in dirittura d'arrivo e, sulla nostra sinistra,
incontriamo l'ultimo bivio di nostro interesse che conduce ai faggi monumentali. Il
vero protagonista è un albero imponente altro 30 metri e largo più di 4. In questo
tempio a cielo aperto si percepisce un'energia ancestrale che solo la Natura riesce
a trasmettere. Ritorniamo quindi sul sentiero principale, e in breve raggiungiamo il
parcheggio completando così il nostro splendido anello.
