Il nostro cammino inizia lasciando l’auto nel parcheggio di Colla Micheri (piccolo piccolo) e rimandiamo al ritorno la visita del borgo, prendiamo quindi via San Bernardo. Costeggiamo l’alto muro a secco e proseguiamo sempre sulla stessa via seguendo l’indicazione “località Mulini”, mentre fin da subito si apre davanti a noi la vista dall’alto di Laigueglia, Alassio, e, più lontano, l’isola di Gallinara.
Dopo circa un quarto d'ora raggiungiamo la cancellata che ci separa da due antichi mulini di epoca saracena, immersi nel verde. Passato questo punto, ci ritroviamo nella località “5 massi”. Non consideriamo il sentiero che diparte sulla destra e procediamo dritti sull’asfaltata.
Dopo un altro quarto d’ora cominciamo il tratto sterrato, percorriamo qualche tornante in leggera salita seguendo sempre il sentiero principale, e al bivio seguiamo l’indicazione del nordic walking “ciappai sentiero panoramico”. Sbuchiamo così sul crinale e procediamo verso est. Poco dopo ci accoglie una
panchina panoramica che gode di una bella vista su entrambi i versanti. Al bivio successivo seguiamo l’indicazione Poggio Brea.
Lungo il sentiero ci accompagnano una fila di giovani cipressi piantati nel 2017 in occasione della giornata degli alberi e il panorama su Laigueglia e Capo Mele.
Ora, superata una cupola erbosa, non resta che procedere fino a un trivio dove prendiamo il sentiero centrale in salita. In poco tempo, percorrendo una striscia di terra nuda tra due fitti boschi arriviamo al Poggio Brea. Riprendiamo ora la strada del ritorno. Arrivati al punto in cui eravamo spuntati sul crinale, svoltiamo a sinistra su un sentiero contraddistinto da 3 pallini e, dopo una brevissima discesa, giriamo a destra in un viottolo che s’infila in un bosco di pini d’aleppo.
All’incrocio teniamo la sinistra (indicazione sentiero Liguria) fino a ritrovarci sul sentiero più basso. Curvando a destra, poco dopo, torniamo alla località 5 massi e poi a Colla Micheri.
Our walk begins by leaving the car in the car park of Colla Micheri (very small) and postponing the visit to the village until the return journey.
Bernardo street. We walk along the high dry-stone wall and we continue always on the same street, following the signpost "località Mulini", while the view from the top of the immediately opens up before us with a view of Laigueglia, Alassio and, further away, the island of Gallinara.
After about a quarter of an hour we reach the gate that separates us from two ancient mills from the Saracen era, surrounded by greenery. After passing this point, we past this point, we find ourselves in the locality of "5 rocks".
We disregard the path that branches off to the right and proceed straight ahead on the asphalt road.
After another quarter of an hour we begin the dirt track, we ride through a few hairpin bends slightly uphill, always following the main path, and at the fork we follow. At the crossroads, follow the Nordic walking signpost "ciappai sentiero panoramico".
We come out on the ridge and proceed eastwards. Shortly afterwards we are greeted by a Shortly afterwards there is a panoramic bench with a beautiful view on both sides. At the next junction, follow the signpost for Poggio Brea.
A row of young cypress trees, planted in 2017 on the occasion of the Tree Day, accompanies us along the path.
Now, having passed a grassy dome, all that remains is to proceed until a crossroads where we take the central uphill path. In a short time, along a strip of bare earth between two dense woods we arrive at Poggio Brea.
We now take the return route. Arriving at the point where we had emerged on the ridge, we turn left onto a path marked with 3 dots and, after a very short descent, we turn left onto a after a very short descent, we turn right into a lane that enters a forest of aleppo pines.
At the crossroads, keep to the left (signposted as the Liguria path) until you reach the lowest path.
Turning right, shortly afterwards, we return to the locality 5 massi and then to Colla Micheri.
